What Activities Are Covered During the Holiday Camps?

While these camps include drills, exercises, games and competitions to improve basketball skills, your child will also have the chance to try their luck at other sports. Our holiday camp days are usually structured as follows:

Morning Session (Basketball):

  • Skills
  • Games
  • Competitions

Afternoon Session (Indoor Sports):

  • Tee-Ball
  • Indoor Cricket
  • Badminton
  • Table Tennis

At no additional cost, each camper will visit HOYTS Southlands on the final day to enjoy a film on the big screen. Included in the price is a Movie Combo to choose at time of registration. The choices for the combo are: Drink & Popcorn or Drink & Icecream. Should you wish to watch the movie with your child you can purchase an extra ticket for yourself and a sibling, this must be done online when registering. Siblings not in the camp must be accompanied by an adult.

Useful Information for Parents

We get many questions about our camps from parents, so we’ve put together some points that may come in handy.

  • Kids should wear sneakers and clothes that are suitable for running around in.
  • You can send your child with their own packed lunch, or you can order lunch for them; just bring change with you and place their orders in an envelope when you drop them off each day. Movie choices are selected in the same way.
  • A water bottle is recommended, although the café is open, and water can be purchased from there. Please remind your children to drink water regularly during the day.
  • Doors open at 8:30am and the Camp will start at 9am.
  • We lock the doors during the camp and reopen them at 3:00pm, so that you can come and watch the last half an hour of activities if you wish. The camp finishes at 3:30pm.
  • Children must be picked up from inside the stadium after roll call. Children will not be permitted to leave the premises without a parent. If you are running late for pick up, please advise the staff by phoning reception on 9310 3388.
  • An email will be sent out the Friday before Camp starts to advise court allocation and the Camp Menu.

Please give us a call on (08) 9310 3388 during business hours to report any issues or ask any questions.
