As a hub for the community, we know the importance of being able to get in touch with the right person at the right time. That’s why we’ve put together some information on our staff who work in the office at Willetton Stadium during business hours.

Mark Winnett
Chief Executive Officer

Mark is the inaugural Chief Executive Officer at Willetton Basketball, having commenced with us back in May 2018. His background in sports administration before joining our team at Willetton is in the sports of cricket and AFL football. Mark volunteers in both junior cricket and football, and has a genuine passion for all things sport. You can get in touch with Mark at

Jeff Anderson
Stadium Operations Manager

Jeff has managed Willetton Stadium since 1989. He brings a wealth of experience in basketball to his role, having played and coached for multiple teams in WABL and SBL since 1983, including the Tangney Tigers. As an experienced coach, Jeff runs multiple successful and long-standing programs, including holiday camps, his academy, and weekday skills-training classes. You can get in touch with Jeff at .

Maria McAdam
Stadium Operations Manager

Maria has been part of the team since 2009. With a background in administration and finance, Maria oversees day-to-day operations at the venue including system operations, overall administrative planning, policies to staff, financial reporting and management of Willetton Basketball’s operating budget.

 

Carly Odlum
Competitions Manager

Carly has been a coach and team manager for her two sons’ basketball teams for many years. She started her own team for mums to show that women with children can do it too. Carly has been part of the basketball world in some capacity for years, whether paid or voluntary. She previously owned her own company in the kid’s entertainment sector and comes from a graphic design background. You’ll see Carly down at a game and cheering on the teams when the NBL1 is on. Brett Dennis
Competitions Support Officer

Brett is a friendly familiar face around the stadium, and many know him as one of our senior referee supervisors. Brett starting playing in the Willetton Junior Domestic competition in 2007. In 2012, he started refereeing in the junior competition, where he progressed into becoming part of the referee supervisor team in 2020. Brett now assists Carly with the smooth running of the competitions here at Willetton. You can get in touch with Brett at

Craig Friday
Talent & Coaching Manager

Craig is well known in the basketball community, especially around Willetton Basketball. Most recently, Craig was an assistant coach in our Mens NBL1 program, and has been a WABL and Domestic Coach at Willetton for the past few years. Previous to this, Craig has had experience head coaching at an SBL and WNBL level, as well as leading the Basketball Australia National Wheelchair Basketball Program in Paralympic Games and World Cup Campaigns. Jackie Keepa
High Performance Program Administrator

Jackie has been involved at Willetton Basketball for many years, primarily in voluntary roles assisting our WABL and NBL1 programs in the past, as well as being a previous employee of Basketball WA and she has a passion in seeing talented basketballers transition thru the association’s programs. Andrea Darrah
Reception

Andrea is the newest addition to our reception team. Andrea is well acquainted with the Willetton Basketball Association in multiple capacities. She was previously a co-ordinator for our domestic club Bullets, and has a child that plays both WABL and domestic at WBA. Andrea has been a WABL team manager, and comes to this role with a range of customer service experience.  You can get in touch with Andrea at .

Meleka Newey
Reception

Meleka grew up in Willetton and played basketball at the stadium as a kid, with many fond memories of attending basketball camps and watching the Tigers play on a Saturday night when she was younger. Having also started working at the stadium in March 2020, Meleka was excited to be working with Jeff Anderson who was her favourite player back in the day. Jessica Kidner
Communications & Digital Officer

Jessica joined Willetton Basketball in May 2022 in the newly created role of Communications & Digital Officer. Jessica is a basketball tragic, having played and been involved with the sport in Western Australia for many years. Paul Terdich
Functions & Events Manager

Paul joined Willetton Basketball in January 2023 as the inaugural Functions and Events Manager having moved home to Perth after 14 years in Singapore in a variety of roles managing event sales, catering, and food and beverage operations.
