Willetton Basketball takes tremendous pride in the achievements of its players, referees, coaches and volunteers.

Below is a list of accomplishments achieved by teams and individuals who have been part of Willetton Basketball, whether it be through juniors, WABL, SBL/NBL1, refereeing, coaching or volunteering.


Representative Teams

Our representative teams have achieved a number of successes across both the SBL and NBL1 eras.

SBL Era – 1989–2019

  • Willetton Tigers – Women’s
    SBL Champions. Most successful club in WSBL history with eight grand final wins.
    1997, 1999, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2016.
  • Willetton Tigers – Men’s
    SBL Champions

NBL1 Era – 2021–Present

Gillam Trophy

The Gillam Trophy was awarded for excellence in the WA Basketball League (WABL) from 1974 to 2019.

  • Awarded to Willetton Basketball
    1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019.
