The BWA & NBL1 Awards Night was hosted on Saturday night, and we would like to congratulate all of our players and staff that took out awards, with a special mention to Melissa Marsh who was inducted into the BWA Hall of Fame.
It is incredibly pleasing to see coaches and players from our High Performance programs and pathways being recognised. Grace Foster was awarded the Female High Performance Athlete of the Year, and Josh Ibukunoluwa won the Male High Performance Athlete of the Year. Brad Ramsay was named the High Performance Coach of the Year. We are extremely lucky to have such immense young talent coming through the programs, and to have highly skilled coaches to continue to aide in their development.
Finally, a huge congratulations to our CEO Mark Winnett on being awarded the Executive of the Year. Mark has led the association through a major rebrand, as well as some fantastic initiatives and programs that have been implemented over the last 12 months. Mark leads from the front, and empowers his team to achieve results that continue to see WBA thrive.
