Championship players, an MVP and a Wildcats DP: Willetton tips off signing season

The Willetton Tigers have tipped off their signing season in a big way, securing the signatures of Perth Wildcats Development Player Oliver Hayes-Brown, NBL1 West MVP Alex Sharp and NBL1 West Championship Captain Desiree Kelley.

Hayes-Brown is a new addition to the Tigers’ men’s roster after coming across from Dandenong in NBL1 South, where he topped the league in rebounds with 13.3.

Connor Mincherton, Damien Scott, Andrew Black, Travis Fee and Michael Vigor have all re-signed.

NBL1 West Women’s Championship Player Hayley Winter has also re-signed, joining Kelley and Sharp in committing to the club.

Sharp in particular had a standout season, taking out the NBL1 West MVP award, the Grand Final MVP award and being named in the NBL1 West All First Team.

The new addition to the Tigers’ women’s side is Imogen Ayliffe, who returns to her junior club after a stint with Saint Joseph’s University.
