2026 WABL Coaching Opportunities

WBA are currently seeking expressions of interest for 2026 WABL coaching roles.

Beyond the opportunity to coach high performing representative teams, you will be welcomed into the Willetton community, and offered the below development opportunities; 

  • Coach alongside an esteemed group of coaches in a collaborative learning environment.
    • Including past NBL1 and WNBL players, National Level Coaches, Past NBL1 Players, and State Level Coaches. 
  • Be led and mentored by Coaching and Talent Manager Craig Friday, including ongoing support.
  • Opportunity to be involved in a professional, high level program that yields some of the top talent in the state.
  • Development pathways available to assist you with achieving your coaching goals.
  • Entry pass to Tigers NBL1 home games to be part of the top level action.
To express your interest in a WABL Coaching Role for 2026, please send your basketball coaching CV, along with a letter including the below information;

  • Your coaching experience
  • Your current level of coaching accreditation, and verification of this. 
  • Your Working with Children card details, and a copy of the current card.
  • Your preferred age group to coach, and whether it is a male or female team.
