The Community Bank Canning Vale Willetton Tigers are thrilled to announce the signing of Jillian Archer for the remainder of the 2024 NBL1 West season.
Jillian is a 6’1 forward/centre hailing from California, and looks to add versatility to the Tigers squad with her post and perimeter game.
Jillian comes to Willetton from St John’s University, where she has spent the last 2 years as part of their starting 5, averaging 11.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game in the 2023/24 season.
Jillian finished the season averaging 58.9% from the field, setting a St John’s record for the highest single season field goal percentage.
The 2022/23 season also saw her receive an All Big East Conference Honourable Mention for 9 double doubles, and her incredible field goal percentage.
Prior to her time at St John’s University, Jillian spent 3 years at Georgetown University, and 1 year at the University of Southern California.
With Jillian’s high percentage scoring ability, her basketball IQ, and her length in defence, she offers an integral missing piece to the Tigers roster.
With Imani Guy departing the Tigers for personal reasons, Jillian will join the team next week ready to play the May 4th home game against cross town rivals the Cockburn Cougars.
