Join Our Team as the NBL1 Men’s Team Manager!

About the Role
As the Team Manager (or managers; more than one person can share the role!), you’re a key support in our NBL1 Men’s Program, part of a larger support team, working behind the scenes and on game nights. Working closely with the coaches and high-performance team, you’ll support the squad through their season.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, and communicates with confidence. If you’ve managed a WABL team, this role will be similar.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach with planning requirements for the NBL1 competition.
- Coordinate player uniforms and apparel, both on and off the court.
- Prepare and manage essential game day items such as uniforms, towels, and water.
- Organise and purchase fruit, Powerade, and other player refreshments (our café will assist).
- Work with the Operations Manager to plan and manage the Game Day budget.
- Support set-up and pack-down of the team gear before and after each game.
- Keep the High-Performance Administrator informed of any issues or needs.
What You Bring
- Experience as a Team Manager or similar role in sport, ideally basketball.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A professional and positive approach with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to lead by example, motivate others, and maintain team morale.
- A sense of humour and team spirit (essential on long road trips and game days!)
